Rick C. Jaster, CFA
Founder and Chief Investment Officer
Rick Jaster brings more than 30 years of experience across institutional investment management, research, and portfolio governance. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds an MBA from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University, where he also earned a Bachelor of Science degree, graduating cum laude.
As Chief Investment Officer, Rick is responsible for the design, governance, and ongoing oversight of Evestia’s systematic investment models. His work focuses on establishing disciplined portfolio frameworks, risk controls, and repeatable processes intended to deliver consistency across market environments. Human involvement is intentionally limited to research, model design, and governance rather than discretionary account-level decision-making.
